Holy hydration!

This stuff feels AMAZING on the skin and leaves you with a nice, dewy finish that doesn't feel greasy or tacky.

My skin seems to really love gel moisturizers above all and this one definitely hydrates my skin after a full 7 step routine. Its also very soothing to apply after a day out in the sun where you face may feel tight and dry.

A new staple in my regimen.

Alright, so I've been giving this Arencia overnight serum a shot, and it's definitely got some good things going for it. My skin usually leans normal to oily so I'm always looking for something that really locks in moisture without making it more oily or greasy. This stuff goes on super smooth – I just dab a few spots on my face and neck, then spread it with my fingertips. It doesn't drag or pull at all, which is a nice touch.

It absorbs pretty well, and for the most part, I don't feel any greasy or oily residue. I did notice a couple of spots where it stayed a little tacky longer than I'd prefer, especially if I put on more than a pea-sized amount, which they sometimes suggest. So, less is definitely more here. When I wake up in the morning, my skin feels noticeably softer and more hydrated.

It's got basically no scent, feels cool when it goes on, and it's been totally fine with my sometimes sensitive skin – no redness or irritation, which is a huge win. The ingredients list looks solid, and for the price, it seems like a quality product that can pull double duty as a moisturizer. I'm looking forward to seeing the long-term benefits. So far, it's a solid addition to the nightly routine.

Good for Overnight Hydration

This is marketed as a hydrating serum. They recommend this for "intense overnight hydration". I feel like it is almost more of a moisturizer and serum combined. I apply it in the serum step though, so right after cleanser and toner. It says use a thick layer, which, again, makes me think it's more of a moisturizer. So I am applying the thick layer, waiting several minutes for drying, and going to bed.
I don't know if skipping moisturizer is a good idea or if this is taking its place or what, but my skin improvements seem to be starting after only a few weeks. Texture looks better, especially on my forehead for some reason, and I have a lot less dryness. Happy thus far.
